For example, that may be why your floor looks kind of grainy, and it looks like the glass table has blurred reflections. I thought maybe your floor material isn't set up right, but strong denoising may explain it.
I have to look up again, I agree that the floor look kind weird. I think the glossiness might set up wrong.

Floor has strong denoising, because the floor has high noise level?

Glossiness always need more sampling ,too much glossiness might cause grainy and undesirable result.

      Is that what you mean?

It seems that I learn something today. Thank you very much for explaining.

Not exactly. I noticed this in my renders too, when you have a glossy floor and a bump map the denoiser is trying to clean up both the bumpy reflection and the diffuse texture. It's a difficult thing to clean up, and with strong denoiser settings it ends up smearing or making the area more grainy. What I've ended up doing is masking out the floor area in the original image and overlay that on the denoised image. An example you can see is in the images I posted here: https://forums.chaosgroup.com/showth...ondo-interiors In the first set of images, you can see the floor has a slightly smeared look. Edit: here's the image with and without denoiser. The other image in the thread is higher resolution.

@Andy: How do you enable the denoiser in blender?
          Windows 10 Pro, 2x GTX 1070, AMD Ryzen7 1800X, 32 GB DDR4 Ram, V-Ray Standalone/Blender, V-Ray 3 for Sketchup, V-Ray 3 for Modo

            Hi Alvaro,

Here's the basics for adding render channels to your file:

            1. Go to the scene tab
            2. add a "scene" node to the channels tree by clicking the plus sign next to the input box.
            3. find the render channels you want in the in the add node menu
            4. Denoiser has its own node
            5. For most of the Vray channels, you'll want to use the "color channels" node

Lastly, plug in the nodes you've added to the render channels container. (the color channel node enables anti-aliasing)

            Andy
