ok Im going to call this final, unless someone points out something obvious. Thanks for all the help. With regards to the stairways, I put a character of about 6 feet tall in front of the stairwars, and yes it looks a little off, but not enough for me to put forth the effort to change it. I opened up the back and got rid of the black spot, theres a narrow room thats going to be a small gallery.

        Hello,

i would rethink the tiles in the right wall. The white stones are tiled, why is the "window" with the natural stones not optimized to that tiling? Maybe you want to look at that or you have a very ambitious stonecutter
        nice light btw.

thanks for the comment. The thing is, my image is based upon a photograph and the wall is cutout in the same way. I thought about making it even, but if its uneven in real life, its good enough for me

looks great and is much better than anything I can do but thinking about anything else that could be done...

how about a bit of a background image through the glass on the left? something to give a bit of context. ie ocean/ street/ forest?

              awesome tho

yes I agree it needs a background. I am considering modelling the environment instead of using a photo, so was probably going to do that last.

                  Hi

percy, i like the image a lot - just one thing which is obvious mistake in my opinion you might correct - what about the mat of the natural stones on the wall on the right?? If you look on the 2 nearest to the camera, you can see the distortion on the side.

I suppose that's due to the displacament not being 3 dimensional. Please correct me if I'm wrong Percy.

                      Proportion is more important.

                          congrats!
                          GI solution is pretty clean.
I wonder if you could post your rendering and glass settings, I always have problems getting clean edges on windows.

                          once again. nice work!

                            Sup KC?!

Your stairs still need some work. They are way too heavy. Try cutting all members in 1/2 - and change to a round handrail for goddsakes.

Looks good othewise. Really like the windows - I see you know the secret of the window....

                            Good Luck.
