great work! I noticed a lack of GI details in your image though, and your settings confirm it. Setting your HSph subdivs to 100 is great and all, itll get rid of splotches, but setting your Interp samples to 75 just blurs the crap out of your GI shadows negating your really setting your HSph samples so high.

Heres an image illustrating the issue:

This is a greeble scene rendered at 100,20 and 100,75. all other settings are the same. They were taken into photoshop and set to difference. As you can see theres a fair amount of difference in color at the corners and edges. I adjusted contrast a little to make the effect more evident.

        Hope that helps ya some.

yeah i agree with percy ..... and it shows in the images....also you are not letting any light through that glass of yours... is there a reason for that ?

some of the settings in vray are difficult to understand and frankly counterintuitive to someone who hasn't used it alot. I think its especially evident in the Interp samples. You always think that when it comes to samples, more is better, so that upping thse interp samples would be a good thing.

what ever happened to the mouseover help you could get by placing your mouse of the spinners?

Percy, for some reason the image you posted is just showing up as a big black square, any ideas?

lol, i think its supposed to be a big black square with white streaks showind the difference between two images rendered with one parameter changed.
I dont know what is a "greeble scene" though, so percy could you please post both images that you used for difference?

I see what you mean, the second one seems to 'float.' Are you using Max 6? I didn't know Greeble was compatible with it.
