    hy all together¨
this is my first interior with vray. Please some critic. Is the rendertime not to high with 24 hours? It's a dual 2.2 Ghz Intel xeon machine.

well, refine your materials.. they don't fit at all.
your table is also too high and there are some major proportion-mistakes.
and why the hell did he render 24hours? show up your settings.

            Settings

There are 14 Spots, 1 Vray and 1 Skylight in the scene. The picture is rendered in 1200X674 pix.

try increasing radius of line or image resolution.

                        Very nice!

24h IS too long for such a scene. I guess you AA settings are the main reason for that.

Have you tried playing with color mapping instead of using such high multiplier on the first bounce?

Btw, I really like the architecture. The oposite openings surround the space with light really nicely. Don't like the floor material though.

I have one suggestion concerning the materials, if I may. It apprears to me that the exterior wall is supposed to show a continuum with the interior space. Then why not push your idea further and make the materials seamless as well? Only for those two walls. Just a guess...

                        Keep posting.

                        Regards,

                        Nenad

thanks nenad, i played with it, but allready with the first bounce 2.5. gonna make them lower, and play again. thinking about your seamless idea. i'll see

Looks ok, but im more worried about the scale, the slidding doors look far to large. I would suggest having some color tiels or lights to bring a warmth to it all.
