Personally, I don't care for this type of lighting. It lacks depth and looks very artificial, to me.

I would go blind in a room with this much light in it.

Try calculating the ir map with no maps but just white materials and a lot of bounces and then turn the maps on for the final render and it will look very similiar to this.

            Great rendering!
From an artist's point of view , the image is a bit over-done, however, archtectural visualization is not pure art. From a client's point of view, the image is undoubtedly excellent, and meet his/her need.

              2 ALex konst :

I think that u are talking with people here in this forum than can simply understand your lighting technique !!

Sometimes is only to compare the different approach to the vray lighting settings not only or not even a needed lesson

              anyway

              good job

              bye

Yours are really very nice renders !!, but i don't think is a secret.

I tried something similar in the past, using vraylights near walls (on the roof for example). Of course i don't know the exact position in your scene. but i think i'm not far from the truth. I'm saying this, because i saw the same effect on corners in my tests.

Your is simply a commercial. U want to promote your work... And "of course" u don't want to let us know... you want to interest people with a kind of "new" method... ok i can understand this.

Remember , You told us sometimes, that ... People doesn't have to imitate parameters, just try and try... and is true also for me.

                Cheers,

Not wanting to share your settings (which is you right of course) because some people could rob them sounds quite pretentious to me. It's assuming that your settings are better than all those shared by other people on this forum. Are you sure that the potential robbers you've mentionned would rather use your settings than Rosenman's, Maxer's, Natty's, Rerender's, Gonçalo's, Vince's, Maxxer's, Linda's, Saluto's etc. etc. ? I believe all of those great artists have in mind that they've learned partly thanks to other people's help... and settings sharing. Haven't you?

I think an artist can be a good renderer but a good renderer can not be an artist. It means an artist has creative mind and skills incruding modeling, mapping and lighting all of them. surely i'm not an artist

                      nice work

                        secret for photorealism its observation
absolutely true. Parameters are only a part of realism.

I think ur secret is to use default settings... hehe
i would never have thought about this whithout u !!

No, seriously, i don't see anything "new" in ur renders, even if it is very good quality work....
and i really don't like ppl like u, who try to keep their settings "secret"... i HATE that... i used to work whith ppl like that... i'm at the opposite "hey come on ppl, look what we can do whith those settings !!"

                          Sorry

                          Bye

read some Deepak Chopra books and be less afraid dude. And oh, you are certainly talented, but don't over-estimate yourself too much, it doesn't make you prettier, you know

You should understand Vray have lots of problems in lighting, textures interpretation, incorrect colours, colour bliding because It was prepared by programmers not artists. And we (artists) need to avoid all this by preparing some correction to reach the quality
Before I needed to add about 10 layers in PHOTOSHOP to reach good quality.
Now I reach the quality without Photoshop. Unsharp Mask only.
BUT the changes I made to reach the quality are not Vray feature but MAX settings feature.
Have you ever rendered scenes using SALuto settings? If so, you may be ask yourself "WHY AM I NOT ABLE TO GET THE QUALITY LIKE SALUTO DO WITH THE SAME SETTINGS?" I found an answer....
