Very nice lighting, but I think the shading was the main task here... Isn't it?

Would you post a wire of the model(s) and a short explanation of the shading; how did you do this breath taking gypsum looking?

p.s. the grass would be more irregular, if you apply the disp.mod. on a slightly noised, tesselated plane...

for the grass... this may be a good example where you could try the VrayHair for the grass. Since you are so close to it, it may look better.
