really nice images! i love the third one!
the frosted material on the exterior is really cool.

what's this trend for posting massive images though???
doesn't anyone else find it annoying having to scroll left and right to see full images???

Nice job! As a guy who spent 3 months living within 100km of the magnetic north pole this year (GIS project), this is a nice sight to see now that I'm back in the city. The only comment I would have is that you would see larger snow drifts at the footings of the complex. One thing that I underestimated before going to the arctic (antarctic, basically the same thing), is that the winds are incredibly high/long in duration. Combining that with the desert environments results in a very dry snow, that once it gets kicked up by the wind becomes suspended in the air, causing a spectacular atmospheric effect. I'll post some pictures a little later.

                Good work.

i love them...both the renderings and the design are really great. I also like the section rendering...it really tells the story!!

the exterior shot in the daylight is dead on as far as ligthing matching....

                  very good work, man

                  thanks for sharing.

Great renderings, especially the first show has a nice color balance.
                      Well done!

It was really cool project to do lots of hours ...and i mean lots:
                        2.5 weeks 7images with modelling.....

Schroder thanks for the comment about the snow but as i never being in such a cool place my only reference was some images on the net and a couple of videos.
I think i will try to animate some scenes .....when i will have some time
I would love to see the pictures you did oif the artic.

                        All the best

very nice indeed. i have a little question if you dont mind. In the 3rd picture, how did you manage the interiors of the station. Is it billboarded or a full 3d interior including the passageways connecting the main parts.

Dennis the third image everything is model except the foreground snow that i mixed with some 3d snow i created..and the sky that i painted.
Schroder those images are great i just regret i didnt asked before if anyone had similar images.
