great...!
for the lighting fixture...to make believable ( i also thought it was a small window..), maybe put some yellowish blurred tint in the corner...like a inside glow...maybe that's an idea...
Really love the subtle bump mapping on the ceramic tile.
It would be interesting to use a displace map on the bar of soap too!
Can you show us your material setup for the ceramic tile?
olivierfR - I tried tweaking this one for you...im not sure if it's correct
blueplanet - just use this as your bump map...maybe you could also explain to me the meniscus principle again..and i was just wondering how water reacts when it collides with another body of water..maybe you can help me out on this one?..tnx guys
Hi Dench, nice work! Those must be some robust plants above the closet Maybe try decreasing the displacement on the towel a bit.
About the light fixture : OlivierfR, in the example you've posted, notice that the frame is under the white surface, which justifies the grey falloff. In this scene, the frame is set above the white part so I guess there is no need for the internal shadow.
nenad - thanks! but both are actually correct depending on the type of lightbulb you use.if you try an incandescent bulb for that lighting fixture then the light would be quite evident at the middle part..while to an energy saving one the diffuser would be properly diffused.
spirit - thanks!let's just say that im the opposite of those who try to blur their images.try to lessen it next time
