What is "no edge loops"?
And I don't understand, Why it is bad to use 5 side polies. Often it is convenient for me.

what can i say, not noticiable for eye but its important for the perfecionist artist xD

Without 3 side polygon or 5 side polygons or point with non 4 count of edges you can't do anything.

i noticed a lot of non quad polies on your work, as far as i can remember you go up to at least 6-gons, but it always turns out looking good,

have you ever considered writing some tutorials or poly modeling tips? I'd appriciate one tutorial from you more than all your models shared.

It shouldn't really matter unless the surface is being deformed in a very specific way as in character animation most evidently.

dusan i never uses more than 4 sides polys on my works only on planar surfaces i do them becase they dont affect planar only curve surfaces

Hehe, this has gotten out of hand, but i do back up Zuliban. I myself never use anything other then 4 sided polies in most of the work i do. The main reason is that its predictable as to whats its going to do.

But there are times when having more subdivisions on a surface will look worse then throwing in a 5 sider. in the end, what you dont see wont hurt you, and if you dont see it, and the end product is the same, more power to yas.
