Someone posted an image to show what the new Fstorm Geopattern are able to do, so I tried to do the same with VrayPattern and of course rendering it in V-Ray : ))

Hello Again ! =D
Rendering underwater scene is always a challenging for me ,but I think I did some progress with this one : ))
kudo for Vlado for the bubble- around- the -camera idea
You can download the scene from here
(if you don't have Phoenix FD you can replace it with a standard texture or simple noise )

Quoting Vlado here :
Because of the fog color that I used in the VRayMtl material, which is the same material on both the bubble and the water surface; otherwise V-Ray won't know when to start and stop the fog. It also helps V-Ray to compute the correct IORs. Think of it like a real-world underwater camera case

I've been testing Vray Cloud for a while now in my free time and I'm really impressed with the easy of use and how fast it is to upload iterations !
here is the latest test I did few days ago
the model was created using GrowFX but unfortunately it is not supported yet so I had to bake the animation using a Mesher and Point cache modifier .
Resolution : 1920 *1080 (Full HD)
Render time : 126 minutes for the 200 frames.
Sampling : AA 1-12 NT 0.015 DMC NT 0.01 .
BF + LC ( default )
Twixtor to remap 200 frames into 400 frames .
RSMB to ADD MB in AE .
Neat Video denoiser to remove noise
Tools :
3ds max 2016
Vray 3.6
Forest Pack 6.1.1
GrowFX 1.9.9 SP5 (cached using point cache as it is not supported yet )
Edit : in case the video dosen't show up you can watch it here :

Hello again
Here is a couple of tests I did recentlywith Vray cloud
https://vimeo.com/296921787
Another quick doodle between projects I did to test how far post production can take such scene and to test Vray Cloud rendering .
Technical info :
The setup is super lazy and simple this time :
-Evermotion ready city model
-Lighting done in one click with "find and bind" script and Peter Guthrie Hdri
-Camera animation :Camrig script
-Render setup default settings
(only higher value for retrace in LC as I was lazy to cache it )

The second one :
http://https://vimeo.com/297015380
This one was late night project and quite fun..it's started with testing a few models I get recently from Evermotion (AM 182) for a commercial animation that I'm working on and ended with these random shots .
I scattered those building with one forestPack and using the IPR I did move around to find interesting shots .
the only thing that I missed is EnvFog with IPR (I'm still on 3.6) so I had to do few render tests for that .
Lighting done with one of Vizpark amazing HDRIs (they have really cool and fancy collections)
what's made me happy here is that each shot took only 20 min to render and uploading was really fast as I only have animated camera (exported file is almost 130 MB ).
