Well It's an imported solid (acad 2k5) in which I did a boolean operation of 2 extruded polylines. Would it be better to boolean the regions first and extrude then ?
Natty you mean the material subdivs ? Or object -> surface properties -> subdivision presets HIGH ? Don't know if this is correct ?
Have a look @ this file .. its 2 ellipses in a rectangle ... select the rectangle then add the ellipses to it through Edit spline ...then extrude.. so much cleaner and not thousands of lines all over the place.
yes, natty, but don't try to put meshsmooth or turbosmooth on top of the stack - you get crap - and it is so much needed to smooth sometimes (all the time)
