  • 6th and B Interior

Here is a small interior space. I let it render all night and it still has a whole lot of noise. These HDRI's are murder on render times and noise for interiors. The subtle light you get is great, but at what cost? I had to paint out a bunch of those little denoiser squares all over the image, too.

    nice colors !
I can imagine lighting such interior with small windows using HDRi will rise render time a lot ..and also you are using BF + LC right? that's make it even worse (render time wise)
we have here 6 workstations with total almost 240 buckets but we still using IR +LC for interiors to meet with the usual crazy deadlines -- today we rendered 30 images in 3 hours for an event and that wont be possible using BF+ LC

Simply, I love to put pixels together! Sounds easy right : ))

Yes, BF + LC. I'll try IR + LC, if I even remember how to use it

Nice looking images Bobby. Out of curiosity, were you able to reduce the render times by switching to IR+LC?

No, I didn't try yet. To tell you the truth, the render times were insane. With the densoiser it would have taken 6+ hours to get something some what clean. With denoiser it was a few hours per image. After 3+ hours the light elements were not usable because of noise, especially in shadows.
