Flat in Vienna - quick interior render for a pitch

Hi guys,
we have been challenged to do a quick interior project for free to show to client what we can do in a quick turnaround. So this is a one view only viz of a flat in Vienna done in 10 hours.

Work for free, what is up with that? No planning on their side, no time on your side, sounds like a bad idea. I know, they want it for cheap. Other than that, nice job.

Fortunately enough its not like that this time around

Each year we pick a few possible clients and offer them 3D interior viz for free so they have a free chance to see what its like working through a project with us.
We have been doing this for 3 years already with great success.
Although this is time demanding, it pays back and most of the companies we offer this test drive to they give us projects sooner or later - some of which are quite big ones.
So far we have around 60% success percentage but it still covers the hours spent on the test drives and saves money travelling, having to talk to people and persuade them on still vizes that we are better than our competition OR why its better use 3D here and there etc.
Its not only archviz that we pitch like this for, its products, advertising agencies, services.

And we love our work of course

I just said that because I get that call several times a month. You know, "do this one project for us, let us see how good you are and then if it works well, we'll send you a ton of work". I roll my eyes, delete the email, and know I will never get that few seconds back. You reversed engineered it

I would do it for somebody in town but a random guy/company from anywhere in the world, no way.

You see the choice is ours and thats the main thing.
We get to pick whoever we want, whos products we like etc - provided we see the potential of a future business.

Indeed, nice work and love the idea. Sometimes one has to take a dive and risk something to get something back, that's my policy at least.

Pretty cool for 10hrs! If I had the time I would offer a similar service, thought of doing it many times... a lot of people still don't appreciate 3D visualization so It's a good way to show them the possibilities, while potentially securing future projects, not a bad investment in my opinion.
