I've taken your advice and thanks. It's not too obvious on the one I've already posted so I re-rendered another bedroom shot.

I may have over done it a little bit, but I get the point.






I'm not sure the client would be too happy because they wanted to see the outside. They wanted to see Salford landmarks and Manchester skyline.

I will definately use this method in future.

ps the newer backgrounds do look better, we live and learn

That's the idea, adding a slightly blue cast to the image makes it look more 'outside', if you know what I mean.

If your client wants to see the environment then maybe this isn't the job to use it on.
