I wanted to share with you the first preview of the underwater volcano scene I?ve been working on for my upcoming short film about Tardigrades...

A couple of things I wana change, add:
1. Volcano smoke needs to be less lit by the fire, I also don?t like the flickering of the animated emission...And the smoke should be brighter (probably needs to lit differently than the rest of the scene, since smoke color is already pretty bright)
2. I wanna add more haze overall, that should also be animated and more irrregular. RIght now I only faked it with Zdepth fog, volume light and some environment fog on the floor. I?m thinking about a large scale simulation covering the whole scene, or several instanced simulations scattered around. I could start with the cloud preset and then play with the shading until it looks right.
I could also add drag particles to make it even more irregular, like plankton.
3. I need A setup for water particle that works over that huge area. I?m thinking about faking it in after effects maybe...
4. I need some fish swarms and to animate the couple of sea plants in the front.
5. The lava is already animated, just didn?t render it correctly. Same with the smaller volcanic vents.
If you have more ideas, please don?t hesitate!
