You can try to find UDIMM RAM, with ECC. I don't think these are out of stock...
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

zivmil out of curiosity, what kind of price/budget are you building this for? I'm thinking of doing something similar. Are you coming in under $5K USD? Does that include GPUs?

Yea i think it around little less than 5000$. the cpu is the expensive part here. the gpu 1080Ti i take from my old computer. its still does the job really good! suppose to get the parts next week

Hi guys Quick update, I've been running this system for a month and am very pleased with the performance.hope this info help someone that have the same dilams that i had.First I was very worried about going air cooling and not the AIO water but the performance of the noctua tr4 are great. so don't listen to all the people who say it can't cool 3970x. I read a lot users of newegg and Amazon reviews that said it couldn't!
The second conclusion is that i love the asus case :P
happy that i bought it over the bequiet 900

Do you hear the Noctua second fan noiser on full load speed? Is it front 1500rpm and rear 1200rpm?

You have to remove the stock standard rubber feet from the 2nd fan and put on the thick rubber feet that come inside the box of your Noctua air cooler. Otherwise you'll hear a distinct whine from the 2nd fan at high RPMs. Check your Noctua cooler installation manual, there's an illustration about this.
