New Laptop for Vray & Sketchup

Hello!

I'm considering purchasing a laptop specifically for using VRAY and Sketchup. I'm looking at the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9 16IRP8 83BY004KIV with the following specifications:

•⁠ ⁠64GB Soldered LPDDR5x-6400 RAM
•⁠ ⁠1TB SSD M.2 2280 PCIe®️ 4.0x4 NVMe®️ SSD

I would appreciate your opinion on this computer, considering it's quite expensive, and I want to ensure it works perfectly for my needs.

I worked from a laptop for two years. I have an Alienware X17 R2 with a 12th Gen i9-12900HK, an RTX 3080Ti, and 64GM memory. I think I paid around $5000 for it (with a three-year warranty), and it did its job without any complaints.

I'm no expert, but my concerns with using a laptop (unless things have changed drastically since I last had/used one) is that using them for rendering will take its toll on the motherboard (ie likely to burn it out).

Having said that, I did recently see and was attracted to the Asus Laptop Zenbook Pro 16 (as I'm learning/moving more towards Blender/Cycles) and feel it could handle those programs well.
