    Hi jackieteh

Upgrading from Threadripper 1950X to Ryzen 9950X is a big upgrade, you will notice a difference in pretty much everything.
Your build looks ok, although if you wanna safe some money you could go for the older Ryzen 9 7950X. You will get the exact same performance and you will safe 300 Euros on the CPU and motherboard.

Otherwise make sure your case is big enough to house your 4090, and that your CPU cooler supports the new Ryzen 9950X

Last year I put together a system with slightly lower specs than yours.
        It has been 100% reliable.
Make sure you get the EXPO AMD memory kit. Some AMD users have had trouble with Intel XMP.
Use the cables that come with your power supply.
Good luck & enjoy your new system,

May I know what is AMD EXPO? is it only needed if I want to do overclock?

yes for sure if you overclock the ddr5 ram, probably makes a difference even in stock speeds but I'm not sure as I always use that feature for either AMD or Intel based systems.
AMD Extended Profiles for Overclocking represents a new type of memory profiles that allow you to quickly and easily set the maximum speed for your memory. With just one click, you can instantly set the frequency, timings, and voltages used by your memory without having to make any manual changes in your computer’s UEFI BIOS.
              https://www.digitalcitizen.life/amd-expo/
If you don't enable it your memory will run at 4800.
depending on your budget, you might want to look into slightly faster DDR5 speeds. Ryzen 9 9950 or 9950X can handle faster, which of course is more expensive.
Perhaps Muhammed_Hamed can add to the DDR5 speed vs. Vray performance conversation regarding CPU or GPU
And of course, if you are comfortable going into BIOS to make the changes.
MSI bios is very simple to use, the EXPO button is on the main page, as on or off, sometimes there are a couple options.
In the BIOS is where you will set your case & CPU cooler fan speeds/curves.

You can find a lot of great information about putting a pc together on YouTube, Reddit, and PcPartpicker (great site to make sure all your components will work together for size and power), and of course in the Vray forum!
Quick overview, when I build a system, I start with software I want to run and any I may run in the near future.
Then go to those sites to review system requirements.
With the list of components you noted, looks like you have already done that.
If you haven't put a computer together recently, go to YouTube there are a lot of videos on general building, and you can also search on the components you are using for more specific instructions (AMD chips insert into the motherboard differently than Intel)
Then another video on loading the operating system, drivers, software, etc.
Make good notes on the SEQUENCE of assembly steps, watch the videos multiple times, then when you actually do it, it will be familiar.

Windows 10 loses support officially in 2025, you will need to move to Windows 11 eventually. You might as well move now
About Memory frequency, if you have all memory slots occupied you might have issues getting your memory to run at the rated overclock. Best is not to spend money on expensive/fast memory to only need to run it at stock for stability

                      Hi,

Do you mean if I did not overlock my RAM, No need to buy the RAM which support AMD EXPO?

I am decide to buy the PC which show in the attachment and 32" monitor, with this PC if I do not do overlock, should I still need the AMD EXPO?

Is RAM 64GB enough for interior and exterior work?

                        Sorry about not being clear
You do need Memory that is AMD friendly for sure, it will have the AMD Expo labeling. This is needed for AMD workstations, as if you run other memory designed for Intel it will be unstable

That being said, my advice is go for 128 GB memory, you already buying a lot of expensive parts and you need your machine to be future proof. 5600 or 6000 are maximum speeds for the memory you buy(and it needs to be AMD friendly)
You will go to BIOS to try and run it at the rated overclock above 4800, if that doesn't work out for you(most people have the same issue), it is not too bad to leave your memory at stock speeds

Let us know how it goes
