Compatible with Windows 7 64-bit?

Hello,
I was a bit surprised to see that Windows XP 64bit is recommended in the system requirements. What is the reason for this? Does vRay RT GPU also work on Windows 7 64bit?

I believe win xp x64 use a lot lees GPU memory for ur windows look and so on so I gues u get slightly more out of ur gpus... I'm not expert in it just my thought...

It works fine with Windows 7, but we had to pick one version and we chose the one that is most extensively tested here.

As for GPU resources, technically you can turn off Aero in Windows 7 too.
