My gain ward gtx Titan just arrived.
Should I take out my gtx 580 or leave both cards in the workstation? Will this improve performance, for example using the gtx 580 for viewports and the Titan for RT?Reflect, repent and reboot.
Order shall return.

With both cards rendering, If you have issues with the UI interactivity slowing down try reducing the Ray Bundle Size and Rays per Bundle in the Render setup dialog for RT. Or you can always disable (from GPU rendering) the display card with the included applet.
Things to watch out for would be driver compatability for both boards, having enough room and slots for both boards with adequate cooling, and a having a power supply big enough for both boards. And of course if you max out the RAM in the 580 you will have to just render on the Titan.
Also, you may need to have a dummy plug on the non-display card for Windows to see it...
Hope this helps,
