    Hey,

    I'm testing latest public RT build and found that noise threshold seems to work in wrong way. Does it take into account gamma set up in color mapping ?

    All settings are default. In RT threshold of 0.003 looks like 0.02 in ADV in dark parts, looks like it's checking out the noise in gamma 1.0 instead 2.2. Or is it just me ?

    I've read that noise threshold for progressive sampler does not work properly (info from Vlado). RT uses basically the same sampler so it might be the same problem.
    In exterior progressive sampler with noise 0.01 did just fine and in interior I needed 0.001 or even 0.

      It is broken in the official builds; things should work fine in the SP that's coming. If you want to give it a try, email me to vlado@chaosgroup.com
