  • Wacom Intuos Pro. The pen is defective?

    Hey guys,

I've been using a Wacom Intuos Pro Medium pen tablet (this one) for the past year or so and there's a thing that's been bugging me. The buttons on the pen click repeatedly by themselves if I click and hold them down (without releasing them). This causes me unintentionally clicking on stuff I don't want to and it's getting to the point now where it's driving me nuts! I've never dropped the pen or slammed it. I take very good care of my stuff. Does anyone have this problem? Should I send it for repair or is there anything else I could do to make it stop doing this? I don't really want to send it out for repair if I don't have to since I need it for some sculpting jobs and using my mouse for this is out of the question.

Thanks for the input. So maybe mine is defective. By the way, did you try to hold down the pen buttons just lightly pressed, not pressing hard on them? It only happens when I hold them down "lightly". If I "squeeze" the pen harder it doesn't happen but doing this is affecting my strokes.

I don't have any issues with my Intuos Pro pen and don't have to squeeze the buttons or even think about it. I think you just need to get yours repaired or replaced.
