Yeah, I am not sure how we got to AD I did get Arion to work, but as you said, it is a little obsolete now and although I got it working, I haven't used it.

Funny how you started the thread with a problem with Arion and all of the sudden turned blame on AD )) from my experience the 2020 is the best and most stable release to date. I tried downloadin Arion a few weeks ago and it worked well. I only use it for CA because the grading in vfb improved so much over the years Arion becomes almost obsolete. If youre in the archviz industry youre pretty much stuck with AD considering the usual client inputs.
most of the stuff nowadays turns to pay per service hence the new ad policy basically. I can imagine a few years further you pick up a fridge at the store and youll be paying for its service not for the product as it is. With products its bot a bad idea as it would mean producers can start making products that last long again. Not just some crap that fails within 2 years. Payment per fridges service would alow them to maintain their income while selling only fractuon of their produce. If fact, by doing so, the could even make more revenue with dar less costs
i am happy to see there are people who still beloeve in Max like Tyson with his TyFlow...

This post made me, for the first time, rethink my decision of not going into subscription... For a few seconds at least.

I did contact them not too long ago in may, they had told me they are busy working on a new renderer so they are moving the website etc etc, But did they say you can stil get arion fx, the website link however does not seem to be working now

If they abandoned me on one software I am not going to trust them on another.
