yes indeed. I was warking a lot with lightwave models and translating them into max. I saw how they were textured in lightwave using lightwave's layers (like photoshop) and blending different maps. Thats what max really lacks...Im surprised how only max is missing this feature. Maya, xsi, lw all have it.
