In Adobe Photoshop, learn how to create a knockout, which lets you specify a layer to "punch through" to reveal content from other layers.Marcin Piotrowski

As for GPU it is supported with Bucket mode only.-------------------------------------------------------------
Simply, I love to put pixels together! Sounds easy right : ))

Yes, VRAY 5 broke things and they are working on an update, but it might take awhile.Bobby Parker

I am pretty much good now, I have found other solutions. I guess it is the price a developer pays being slow to the market. I don't know, I am sure it took time to get things to work, but don't you work this stuff out in beta? It seems like they didn't try their plugin until VRAY 5 was already officially released. This breaks people's workflows, but having said that, I guess we don't have to upgrade the second something is released.Bobby Parker

Could you tell your "other solutions"? I would also like to find an alternative. Because every max or vray update it seems to be the same with the cebas guys, and you need to wait pretty long for an update.
I tried the cryptomatte its very close to psd manager, but I'm missing the material ids and also parent layers when you using the layer masks.

Last month I was asked if I would be willing to beta test and I said yes, but I have not heard back. The month is almost 1/2 over, so I am skeptical if we'll get something this month.Bobby Parker
