Here is a tutorial about how to do it, as well as aperture maps you can use:

Chromatic aberration will only show up in your DOF though and not the focused parts of your rendering. I think the easiest way to create CA is Photoshops Lens Correction tool, but it is the same in all places in your image, not like a real cameras CA where it mostly is seen closer to the edges of the phot.
this is not the chromatic aberration you see in real lenses. it's just a coloured filter for bokeh. chromatic aberration you see in out of focus areas is called axial chromatic aberration - example and setup here: https://forums.chaos.com/forum/v-ray...60#post1167560

Indeed, you are right, as I said in my post. Bobby wanted to test the DOF with CA though, so I pointed him there.

          Hey thank you!
do let me know if you have questions and please give me feedback. Funny that you bought it on blender market, even though you're a v-ray guy ☺️

piotrus3333what do you think of CA in Photoshop with the lens correction tool?

Yeah, they are bitmaps, so they'll work for me.

CA needs to make it the VFB.

still does not work on HDR colour. this is how you get it to look real.
solution for PS I liked was ArionFX plugin. not sure it would still work.

If it was that easy, it would have already been done
