i was mearly saying that the time on that render sucked. i would hate to imagine leaving a render that long to render

Yeah, right, if you read fully through that maxwell post you`ll notice, that it was an "accident" - this guy just left the render calculations on one of his machines and simply forgot about it completely.

And becouse of the Maxwell`s nature - it`ll render for ever if not stopped.
But there`s obviously a point in time, when the next calculations do not contribute much to the final look. That`s what Vray is basing his great optimizations on.

That`s why I found this post interesting - not to make fun of others, I`m far from that! I`ve used FR, Brazil and got stuck in Vray becouse of its flexibility.
