        I don't see what you wanna do? Even if they did sign anything, how will you force them to give you work if they ain't got it, or to pay you for something you didn't do?

        I really don't think it is a big deal if they back off from a project you didn't even start yet. That's life, and it happened to me too a few times.

        If you already started it, then it is a different story.

        It's possible they hired someone else to do it for less money, and in that case, be glad you don't have to deal with them anymore. Or they really left the whole project, and in that case, threatning them with law suits will only make them never to come back to you.

        So don't worry about it too much and spend your time looking for some other project
