  • Strange thing

    Hi all ,
I want to show you a strange thing hehe, this afternoon I have some time to kill and I have decided to reuse an old scene build with a friend during a night.
The concept is to make something in the viewport of 3dsmax with a good CGcard and to animate it with music, don't pay attention to the music, and you probably must be drunk to appréciate this stuff (and to make this ).
Problem is frame rate of course, but with just a capture software to make the render it's really cool.
Music is Chemical Brothers (live at Santiago de Chilie)
I hope you will like it.
So to resume: screenshot and after effect.
The image doesn't match very good with the music but it was made in 3h.
    file is around 13meg.

Hey thats great ... perhaps you could get the BPM from the track and some how tie that in with the frame rate ?

Problem with the frame rate is:
When you puch the play button in max in smooth view, the card couldn't follow the same cadence everytime and sometime it pass in wireframe so you must restart max to make a good screen capture in smooth view to clear the card buffer. So it is very difficult to normalise.
                        card is quadro 3400

You could just render a preview, should look the same.

I have try this but on 3000 frame my preview doesn't maintain the frame rate and pass in wire.

I guess the question that 95% of us would ask is - how did you do this?
