Does anyone know of an addon for Outlook Express that will show a pop-up or something when mail comes in. Thanks.

I've been wishing Outlook would do this like it used to as well. The latest only pops up a window in the corner of the screen for 30 seconds... but if I'm away from my desk I miss it and often times forget to check.
This is what Microsoft calls progress. I'm sitting here pining for Office 2000!

I use the option, but unlike in years past when you had to acknowledge the dialog and close it, now it disappears after 30 seconds whether you click or not.
Email is a bother... I keep my laptop next to my workstation for web (err, who am I kidding, messageboard) browsing, email, IM, etc., etc. God knows test renders equate to a lot of downtime I can spend "researching."

The number of times I hear about people working in offices where everyone IMs everyone else whenever they have a question or the slightest problem... crikey. What the hell? Haven't there already been enough studies about how corporate productivity has been completely sapped by email?
I'm gonna get a cabin in the woods before I'm 30. I figure by then I'll have to unplug or go bonkers.
