    Just for other people's information.

    Autodesk's development team are currently chasing up this problem.
    I can successfully import our MDT2005 models into 3dsmax7 with the MDT2006 object enabler. As such, the issue appears to be with the new "RealDWG2007" for 3dsmax8.

    RealDWG doesn't seem to like our Parametric models.


    In the mean time, $24,000 of software sits there waiting....

      Autodesk will be releasing an updated object enabler within the next few weeks to fix the issue that we're having re. importing MDT models into Max8. Fantastic!

            Too bad that wasn't the only thing they broke in Max 8.

            RealDWG 2007 doesn't read the UCS (User Defined Coordinate system) from any xrefs in the dwgs. urg.

            By the time I get a fix they'll have brought out Max 9, with a whole new can of problems... err, worms...
