        • /me pats whoever comes close enough.

          Mainly Jonny and Instinct thugh.
No great performance exists in the void: Germany was impressive a fighter.
Fundamentally clean performance of sport, brutal as it's been for you guys in the end.
Utter respect. It could have gone both ways then.
Again, unconditionate respect, you deserve it.

            • thanks to enexis

              about the best actress
his name is GROSSO who did the first goal too yesterday

really what I appreciate from germany team is the character they use to play their matches, they are worriors on football ground............................................ .................................................. ...
.. but I have to say I'm happy the italy won in that way for the fact that germany journals expressed with certainty they would won on the italian team a team that represent people of menservant, pizza eater, and some other offensive therms to the italian worker people came in germany in the past, and so now I'm more happy for them and for us obviously and no actress yesterday was needed even if I have to say that some decision like the strange punishment at the limit of the area the punishment gaves could be dangerous and the goal saved by Buffon (and don't forget this) and the 2 goalposts we striked and the many actions we didn't finalized

this post only to make clear what was told before the match from the deucth print and they didn't want to reply to the tv peoples who asked for interviews incredible child figure they did in that way remember the germany never won with italy they have only two balanced results for better results

The italian people is not pizza and spaghetti eater, mafia, mandolino player and so on
we are people with long history and good people and a lot more (arts, fashion, and if I have to continue I need maybe 60 pages and more)
please respect to our people and the our people of worker

and about the final I'd like france team only for the fact they eliminated us from the previous world cup and european cup

If the message seems offensive for someone I do my apologize
              respect to everyone

              • well agreeable there ARE offensive terms for italian ppl here...mind you that's nearly everywhere the case for nearly every bigger other country...if i had recieved a dime for everytime i've been called a nazi i could buy the german team some better actors :P

Just wanted to point out that the majority of us is pretty nice ppl

Actually compared to for example argentinia, we're pretty good loosers

My Brother is married to an italian girl and i dig italy...the only thing i hate is their soccer team :P

but still talk about actress seems not objective anyway

                  • For the neutral observer it was a great match.

Italy played better than germany , though germany had all the chances intact til minute 118.

Actually I missed Italian first goal, had gone to the fridge after a beer (didn't want to miss the penalties) so I had to be content with the replay.

Best surprise was that Italy was not Italy like, no catenaccio (don't know how to spell) no speculative, but took the ball when it could and went for the match.

And tonight France-Protugal one neighbourg against the other, from an unapassionate point of view. Hope the match is as good as last night's.

                    Cheers

                    • well...it's pretty hard to talk completely objective about soccermatches...at least when one of the teams is your countrie's team...and mind you i was beeing ironic in some places (marked with smilies )...but to be honest there WAS some serious acting...ad that's something i really cant stand...that's something no soccerfan should have to see

                      • instinct...there were lots of things in many teams i disliked much more than the italian acting...really!
it s in our latin blood and we all just have to live with it!
c mon!acting??what about the penalty-wich-became-free-kick just outside the italian goal area?that WAS german acting!!
so u lost yesterday....so did a lot of teams so far.
and i think germany will be much more capable in four years, since the team was too young and unexperienced...

                        • i wasn claiming it would have changed the outcome...i jsut hate to see it...and i never claimed there was NO acting done by our team...but i dislike it also when our team does it...that's not soccer in my eyes...And one of the worst scenes was the one when Grosso (am not sure if it was him, but i think so) Fell down holding his FACE for no reason....that's stupid....and actually that should give a yellow card i think...mind you not only for italy, but for any team :P i wanna see them play, not fall

                            • Honestly, Thronsten, you DO have extremely high standards.
What i witnessed yesterday was Italy's best EVER game.
As per usual, two points of view can differ by miles, but i have to say Germany at the early stages played quite hard on us.
Some replays showed nasty hammering on the ankles and feet, sometimes even late.
This said, yes, they withered, but in my eyes, more than deservedly.
They soon got up too, VERY soon for me, comparing to normal situations.

To be entirely honest, though, Germany DID stop playing hard from half time onward.
Both the teams played in blind agonistic fury, and i think (and i'll be stoned for this) the referee did exceedingly well NOT to punish the overtime countless late tackles and fouls from both sides, and let the game go on.
As extreme tiredness took over, the game was bound to be somewhat less precise, and had he whistled for every single one, they would have played 5 minutes out of 30.

Everyone on the pitch by then was just plain correct, and didn't want anything else than a goal.
No room anymore for psychological tricks, dives, elbows and whatnot.
And i loved BOTH sides' gameplay: different, complementary even, and SO SO beautiful to watch.

Yesternite it was the purest of soccer.
And i want to stress it, TWO great teams faced on the pitch.
                              Thankyou for that.
