Ok, well havnt done much to it.. its not all texture. but man it sure is ALOT cleaner and less noisy than the vray render posted above. Will finish it off later match the camera angle better and see how it goes.

      Oh yeah machine specs.

I'm all for comparisons, but you have to post the settings for each engine along with the render time and machine specs. Posting an image with 5 different render engines with no explanation, and obvious differences in quality is just asking for trouble.

It's great isma want's to compare engines like this, and it might be very useful, but without some more detail, it's pretty much useless!

I'm not trying to insult anyone, nor generalize people, and I'm certainly not the first person to use the "maxwellians" term. Furthermore, there is a lot of the same on the maxwell side too.

                Sorry if I insulted anyone.

A little on the yellow side but hot diggity damn!

@Frances. I agree some people here are very partisan and do put down Maxwell users but I don't see it too much in this thread. I don't think it was fair/objective for that person to come to conclusions without posting his settings. It's a very one-sided study and can lead people down a biased path (no pun intended.)

                              Mmmm.

@daforce - you have caustics and m-blur enabled? I take it Maxwell enables it by default. Wonder how that would impact results...
