anyone have any tricks for faking a projected image on a wall? I was going to use a transparency map, but I think that will look funny, and it needs to be illuminated. Next I was going to try a spot with a projection map, but thought I'd see if anyone's been here before. Thanks.

Id prob try a direct light with a projection map... does it have to be animated? if not you should be able to do it quite easily in post

yes light projection is a good idea. Another may be a layered texture with mapped channel 2 and another projection map to control its position. But that is if the light way dont work for some reason.Dmitry Vinnik
