    Very Very interesting

This looks great - a pity they are only touting the Final Render compatibility at the moment - I am sure Vray will follow shortly, Dreamscape seems to play nicely with Vray. It looks like an impressive product - although it seems on the pricey side at nearly $800.00 - but I could see it paying for itself on a couple of jobs.
Can't wait for someone to start using it and giving some feedback.

I have been waiting for this product for months. I´m glad it´s out!
I see lots of possibilities for VFX work!
It´s a pity aura disappeared so suddenly. It looked promising as well.

Wish FumeFX had a demo version!

          Aura in develppment

Last I heard from an interview with the Chaos guys is Aura is still being developed, but you have to wonder with something as cool as this which seems to work in very much the same way how they are going to make a stir when and if they launch it. It would have to be a price/compatibility thing - maybe they will bundle it with Vray for Vray 2.0

I love this stuff....but i, inevitably, think about what the simulation times will be like.

            Very cool though!!!!!

i'm all for the inclusion of Aura into VRay 2.0.

so basically: it should actually work with v-ray, though special render options like GI multiplier work only with fr.

all native max renderers SHOULD be able to render ffx as an atmospheric, while standalone renderers wont, unless otherwise stated.
So in theory this should work with vray as an atmospheric effect.
I still can't figure out what this beta tester means by "real interactivity with the plug-in and renderer", aside from being able to multiply the GI contribution of the atmospheric effect...

Well what's a tad shite at the moment is that I bought a license of it in work but now I'm at home - got the installer but I can't license it and have it stuck to my home machine - Trying to get kresimir to give me a temp license but I don't think he's as helpful as the Chaos guys - admittedly he's probably done for the year and everyones got deadlines so why should I get a temp license for home?

He was saying that scenes doone with the demo (due in january) won't load in a full copy anyway.

Fume looks amazing. Well done, and has "solutions" to all the usual problems, except time. I wonder what the sim times are on those. looks like it supports multi-threading. I wonder how well... anyone know?

Judging by the screen cap videos it seems very fast - kind of simcloth type times for a simple sim on steam coming out of a coffee cup - a few seconds a frame. Definitely looking forward to the pflow integration.

i have been looking forward to this release. I have been talking to a guy that used it on Superman Returns and it sounds like its not the easiest thing to use (no suprise being a sitni sati product) but hey, the results speak for themselves.
Now wheres a good reply from Aura?

                              fume looks cool. Some notes:
it looks a lot like aura viewport preview looks a lot like aura. Rendering/shading texture mapping looks a lot like aura. But dont things look alike anyway nowdays ?
Im glad to see one finished product of fluids for max. I hoped that aura would be there first though. Now with fume out, I only see a stronger need to develop aura for competitive purposes. I think aura, must be rebuilt, with more robust interface, increased performace and so on, if it is to compete.
