I think I am going to throw up after watching that!

For anyone who has been in pain, and I mean real pain. Like, "If I could die this instant" pain, then you can only have extreme anger and sorrow over this video. The clear, overt act of savage brutality that is shown in this video in just astonishing. Ever heard of a gun? Instead they choose to slowly torture these poor dolphins. They are contorting and writhing in total, absolute agony. Hmmm . . . I wonder if these "fishermen", and I use that term very loosely, have thought if they were the dolphin if they would like to be treated like that? Or wish pain on their child like that? Really an incredible showing of Humans at their absolute worst. I am absolutely embarrassed to be a part of the Human race after seeing this video.

I am going to email my MP right away because this must stop. I'm also boycotting Japanese merchandise as well until they stop this.

Actually it is different (at least here in the US) in that amount of suffering the animal endures. They are knocked unconscious before they are killed.

unconcious is good. atleast when a lion goes for the throat kill its teeth sever certain nerves and veins more or less killing the animal on the spot. we are not the only ones who kill. humans were built omnivors and unless someone kills something how are we going to get meat. and for all you vegitarians, shame on you for killing helpless plants whoes purpose is to make oxygen and help stop global warming hehehe.

I've been vegan for 8 (or 9) years now - Seen a lot of this stuff go around the vegan/vegetarian communities but it never really seems to gain traction outside of our little bubble.

I'm not the type to say that eating meat at any time is pure eveil, because it's a ridiculous statement - some people need the nutrition that meat offers (since we are omnivores). I was raised in a hunting family in a small town in northern BC, Canada - but when I moved to Vancouver and saw how meat was considered to be a product rather than something from a living being - it was as though I realized that people have zero respect for the life.

Try taking an average 16 year old girl and cow: Place them in a room together and lock the door. That cow will outlive the girl. People don't want to a) know where their food comes from and b) have to get it themselves.

If I ever went back to eating meat, I'd definitely want to hunt for it myself again.
