    hmm..

okay, i've used the standard settings, and the vine was comming now with about 350.000 polys... it's sill to much, hmmm ...

also, here is a quick testrender with the standard multi material..
you can see all the leafs are plates, and the texture isn't right...

shouldn't that be right textured after exporting ?
I mean, there should be the opacity active, or ?

yeah you need to copy the diffuse PNG into the opacity slot, disable filtering. And set alpha source to image alpha. may as well set mono channel output to alpha as well.

        hmmm

now I am really confused.. if I put the .png image into the difuse and the opacity channel, it will not be transparent. I've also unchecked Filter maps, and the alpha source is set to image.

here is a quick scene file, testing...

Should have been abit more clear on that part.

You need to do this for it to work.
The PNG already has the proper alpha in it.
So in the scene you gave me, you need to turn filtering off, set mono channel output to alpha and set alpha source to image alpha.

            then it works just fine.
