Every now and again when moving geometry in Max, the object being moved seems to move exponentially/logrithmically away from the mouse cursor. Its a bit difficult to explain, but moving the object a small amount by dragging it across the viewport actually moves the object in question massive distances.
Does anyone else get this and is there a solution?
We had hoped that moving to Max2009 64bit would help but we still get the problem. It wouldn't be so bad if the Max undo facility was reliable, but it isn't (and STILL isn't!!!). The only way to resolve is to close max without saving, hope you have a suitable autobackup file and restart.
