The news is out, but is the product out? My reseller sent me an email a week ago which said April 8 was the release date for Max.

3ds Max 2010 is not released yet.

V-Ray for 3ds Max (Design) 2010 will be released shortly after the official release of 3ds Max 2010.

will the realtime shadow/lighting etc. work with vray materials or just the built in ones?

Yep, they work with V-Ray materials, in the same way as they did in 3ds Max 2009.

Just had an email from Blue GFX stating that max 2010 is available...anyone know of this..

I think maybe this is just a pre-sale ploy to get people to buy as they are stating that Autodesk have announced a price increase due for May 1st...

On the website it says that the installer is for the 32 and 64bit versions but the download version is only the 32bit version.
