    Any crashes/stability/weird issues?

From what we've heard this one is much better than the others so we're thinking of jumping straight in.

Bit early to say as I've not installed all my plugins yet. One scene crashed on load but I'd assume its due to lack of plugins.

The wireframe speed seems improved. Previosly I had to switch on triangular faces to get reasonable viewport speed, but with the downside that you could see all the triangles making the viewport a mess. Doing the same in 2010 seems to offer the same speed improvement but for some strange reason it still doesn't show all the triangular faces! A Huge improvement if I'm correct!

Wow.... they are working fast... or its an april fools report.
          Max crashed.
          I submitted a report.
I then received an email with a hotfix for the problem issued today!
If only they keep this up for all bug reports!

so do you have both versions running the same time, I mean 2009 and 2010? anything to be care of about it? is it simply another subfolder under Autodesk one and that's it?

It is spot on... in Time Bandits, the parents touch the "evil" and vanish... just like MAX! hehe

Don't joke about it, the code was written by Beelzebub himself. All 666 lines of it.

I like the look of the edge loop tools, something I miss when I go from Modo back to max, as for the other stuff - can't say it's getting me excited, the mental ray stuff is of no use at all because I never use it
