  • Annoying Real-World Map scale - how to set it OFF by default ?

I switched recently to Max Design 2010 from Max 7 and I'm constantly annoyed by the Real-World map scale always ticked on byu default. Does anybody knows how to switch it off by default ?

Where are you seeing this behavior? I am using Max Design 2010 and it is as always, unticked by default.

When I create an object (box plane, whatever): Generate mapping coords + Real-World
When I create a map (bitmap or procedural)
When I add an UVW mapping modifier

      Always on by default...

Thanks for your message, my hope of a solution is now renewed

look in the 3dsmax.ini if i remember correctly. There should be a line in there for that.
