Certainly was! Some top secret Dyson-type thing. They apparently found someone who had a good track record of product visualisation.

They really are shady.

They approached us on that one as well, but were upfront about who they were. They said some shit like we can't do animations, can you help us? Which is plausible if you've seen the crap on there website.

Never heard back from them, didn't even return our calls, that's when we knew to look out for them.

Just getting paranoid now about dodgy sounding quote requests! As people have said, it takes time to prepare a quote...I don't want my time wasted by some charleton.
