  • Lighting analysis tool in max

It seems that this tool has been featured in max's (not design) help file for a while... but no one seems to have seen it or used it. Maybe im wrong?

it's been around for some time. I have used it a lot, but nobody seems to think the information is important, at least in my circle.

I work in a lighting design studio and was hoping that i'd be able to use something more friendly than visual or agi32 I don't like the mental ray thing, and i got them to buy vray.

How do you access this tool?

it's in MAX Design, and it's in the top pulldown menu.

Not really sure if we are talking about the same thing. Design has an assistant, something that works with mental ray and even though it's LEED recognized i don't really find it all that useful. I am looking for something that is apparently in both max and design, and should work with radiosity.

The more i look into it, the more im convinced that it has never existed.

Not sure if it's the same thing, but there is the VRayLightMeter helper.

            Best regards,
