Hi all
So I'm on a 2013 scene with 100's of thousands of objects (imported from sketchup). After hiding all objects and trying to switch material types etc, max would sit and do something for up to 5 minutes in Nitrous. Viewport can hardly move. Switching to OpenGL fixes this and max is lightning fast now. Responsive as should be etc. Obviously you loose all the nice viewport display of realistic materials etc, but at least you can work without waiting 5 minutes in between each keypress...
