Backburner and DR jobs

Anyone sending vray DR jobs to Backburner?

Does this work out for you? I'm going to do some in house tests, but I want to know if I am flogging a dead horse before I waste too much time.

I used to do it all the time before I switched to Deadline. Well worth setting up.

Yeah DR and backburner works.

Basically you just run a single server and make sure the DR is set up correctly in the scene file. It's simple but it took me a while to crack for some reason.

works fine
just setup dr as per usual and use 1 backburner slave to send the job to. This way you can also continue working on your pc while another pc (via backburner) actually renders the scene for you via DR to itself and other computers

You might want to enable the VrayDrbucket element to check for problem slaves.

I use it all the time. It's a great way to go. Some common problems people run into but it's all covered in the forum somewhere.
