I now have a machine at home so I can continue working from there if required. I have a VPN connection set up so I can have vray find the license. It works fine.
However, if I, for example, archive a project whilst I am in the office, and bring that file home with me, unzip it and launch the max file, I believe my system will be pointing to all the texture files on our office server. With larger files with lots of high resolution textures, this obviously takes far too long.
What is the best way to have my max file at home point locally to all my textures (that were extracted from the archive), but when I am in the office, have it point to my server? We use UNC naming for all our textures (i.e. \\server\assets\textures\timber\ash.jpg for instance).
