Do you know what would cause this error? It's an imported Revit model, but I cleaned it up into simple planes.

hello.

Here in the office we have many problems with the import of models from REVIT. Apparently the way as polygons making structure creates a great internal confusion on scales. Since the size of maps to the internal dimensions of the polygon.

IN fact there are times when the scenes respond poorly to the lights. And not only with Vray but with other engines.

It's like becoming the Revit model with different scales, but internally polygons say otherwise. It dont really strange.

make a new scene and temporarily change your SYSTEM units to cm
import your "clean" planes
run the script
save your temp scene
open your actual scene with your usual units and merge in the roof from the temp scene

Who do I have to pay to get an updated version? It hasn't been updated since 2010 . It's an awesome script and I need it for the roof edges. I might install MAX 2016 just to use it again.

Nobody, cause it hasn't worked for a couple years. To me, it was the easiest and best way to do 90% of my roofs.

Yes, I use RC for roofs other than asphalt. I have clients that I have had for a decade that wants to see the roofs I do with the displacement script. I have tried RC for them, but they just don't turn out the same. Plus, with the script, I can do the most elaborate asphalts roofs in a couple minutes. If I am the only one asking for it to be updated that is probably why it hasn't been updated in 8 years.
