3Ds Max 2015, 2014, 2013 insane UI lags... is it just me?

Nope no maxstart.max file. But I disabled aero and that helped a little and lag is shorter but still there. I will try plunging network cable that's a very good idea actually!

Max 2014 x64, windows 8.1 Pro, Chrome open, Rhinoceros open, Rendersettings open in 2 seconds, Materialeditor also, lots of plugins and scripts, and this is a 1 year old install. PC is attached with a NAS.

Videocard is a Quadro K4000, 64 GB RAM and Dual Xeon, dual SSD in Raid 0 for OS and programs.

So I don't know, could be anything really.

Such lag typically is network related, or license server related.

Graphics drivers, chipset drivers, general mobo drivers etc. all things to check.

My MAX UI does feel sluggish too but this is something that's very on-and-off.
