Vlado, seeing this VGA think many freelancers GPU may choose for their jobs.

On the same subject. What happened to the development of chaosgruop for Xeon Phi?

You have very high-end needs It is perfectly usable in a lot of other situations; hopefully even more in the future.

Hopefully they'll allow something like processor affinity in the next gen so that we can actually use 3ds max with one video card while previewing.

And hopefully Vlado you add dynamic updates during light and model movements? Pretty pretty please. Having to let off the mouse to see a change is more aggravating than one would think.

It's not impossible, I just don't want to make the viewport interaction any slower than it is now.

I really hope so. But who knows how long things have been going on internally. Still so sad about no Silent Hill game from Kojima and Del Toro.
In terms of Kojima starting a new company, I kinda hope gets picked up by Sony and offered resources to build his own studio.
                Cheers,
                Oliver

Well this might be true, if you use it for certain things you can work around the problems. It comes down for me to a question - should I commit substantial $ to get gpu based render rigs, to substitute my farm with gpus. If I do that, I would expect gpu renderer to be some what production ready. Right now, any time I use it, even on simple scenes I find problems, which perhaps will be addressed but not immediately but this would impair my production, however if I have committed resources to it I would expect it to work for the most part.
