  • Highlight Hover

The MAX 2016 highlighting of elements when you hover is absolutely annoying. Do you guys turn it off, or are you finding it useful? How do you turn it off?

Is there a way to make the highlighting stroke thinner? I like it in theory but it is so thick it is intrusive.

I found out how to turn it off, but I can't imagine someone liking it. Maybe, for a small scene, but anything else is so good.

I like it actually, it shows what you're going to select. If you have multiple elements overlappnig and you want to isolate the one completely obscured by others I use the TAB key to highlight the correct one, then click to select.

You can also adjust the color, if you dont want it to pop out so much.

I kind of liked the fill option rather than the outline as it seemed far less annoying lol and used it for a while but shut it off a couple months ago and haven't used it since.
                Cheers,

The blinking is more apparent when snap is activated. That might be the cause. I turn snap only on when I'm about to need it.

set the colors to something more subtle, its a very useful feature and can easily be toggled on and off with Alt+J
